Space exploration technology company, Where EspaceX, founder Elon musk said on Tuesday that the aerospace company may launch its satellite internet service Star link soon in India.
What happened: The Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) The CEO responded to a Twitter post that the company was in the process of determining how the regulatory approval process in the country would work for Starlink. The Twitter user was looking for details of plans to offer the Starlink service in India.

Starlink is a SpaceX company designed to broadcast the Internet, especially in remote areas, from satellites orbiting to Earth.

Why is this important: Development closely follows Musk revealing a major acceleration in Starlink’s expansion to 14 countries last week and that he is awaiting licenses in several other countries.
Musk had tweeted last week that SpaceX had shipped 100,000 terminals of its Starlink satellite internet service, a service currently in beta – adding that he hoped the service would be available across “Earth” soon.
Tesla has also called for partial import duty relief to ship electric vehicles to India, where import duties on electric cars range from 60% to 100%.
Price action: Tesla shares closed 0.66% higher at $ 735.72 on Tuesday.
