Ms. Wagner has practiced ERISA and employee benefits law for approximately 35 years and founded The Wagner Law Group more than 25 years ago. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University and is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
Ms. Wagner is an authority on employee benefits, including qualified and non-qualified plans, fiduciary matters, deferred compensation and employee benefit agreements. His benefits experience includes designing, writing and preparing plans, compliance, tax planning and consulting on all aspects of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code. She is a recognized expert in matters relating to pension plan investments and fiduciary matters, and her opinion has been sought by reputable authorities in the area of employee benefits, including government agencies. Ms. Wagner works on audits of plans for the Department of Labor, IRS, and PBGC as well as financial institutions that service the plans, and has negotiated numerous favorable closing agreements.
She was named Chair of the Employee Plans Subcommittee of the IRS Governmental and Tax-Exempt Entities Advisory Committee and received that body’s highest honor.
