When it comes to its employees, BMW India has partnered with various hospitals to make sure everyone is vaccinated.
BMW India has so far donated eight crore rupees to Covid-19 relief. The company had previously donated Rs three crore and an additional Rs five crore was added to the count. BMW India is aiming to put all this money to increase health facilities in Delhi-NCR as well as Tamil Nadu. The company has so far imported more than 150 oxygen concentrators. These concentrators will be used by an oxygen bank in Gurugram (Delhi NCR) operated by GiveIndia, a non-governmental organization. BMW India Foundation helped set up isolation room and PCR at Chengalpattu government hospital, with further commitment to provide RT-PCR lab equipment and microbial detection systems to expand COVID testing -19. In addition, the Foundation works closely with the Gurugram District Health Administration for sample collection and vaccination programs by providing mobile vans and rapid antigen kits.
Even the police department received isolation service in Manesar by BMW India. In addition, critical care equipment has been provided to Gurugram civilian hospital. In Tamil Nadu as well as Delhi-NCR, frontline agents received PPE kits, masks and face shields. Ration kits and meals were also distributed to the poorest.
