Chia Expands Team to Drive Industry Adoption | New


Chia Network, Inc., a new energy-efficient decentralized blockchain founded by Bram cohen, today announced that it has strengthened its team with key recruitments across multiple divisions including sales, product development and engineering, to support the global adoption of Chia’s secure programmable money as a first option of ecological cryptography.

In addition to doubling down on Chia’s engineering team since May, the company is committed to integrating world-class industry experts to ensure increased adoption by financial firms, multinational corporations and government agencies.

Paul Hainsworth, Vice President of Products

Hainsworth was a Product Manager for Amazon, helping to build the Alexa ecosystem. From 2016 to 2020, he was CEO of Open Garden, having served as Vice President of Product Management in 2015. Previously, he was Director of Product Management at BlackBerry and Head of Mobile Data Services, Division Sprint Nextel prepaid card.

Steve Booth, Vice President of Sales

Booth has spent the past 10 years as the Eastern Region Vice President for Vindicia, where he has supported online merchants across multiple business models. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales at Proclivity Systems and Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Aria Systems.

Trace Galloway, Vice President of Sales Engineering

Galloway over the past 12 years has served Vindicia in increasingly key roles including Global Vice President Solutions Specialist, CSP Sales Director for North America, General Manager Solutions Engineering and regional director of sales engineering. Previously, he was Director of Presales Engineering at Solidcore Systems (acquired by McAfee) and Vice President of Implementation and Field Services at Active Reasoning (acquired by Oracle.)

J. Eckert, Vice President of Ecosystem Operations

Eckert most recently served as Director of California Offices and Director of Partnerships at Genvid Technologies. Previously, he served as a Third Party Ecosystem Manager for Riot Games, where he led several teams around Developer Relations and Partner Relations. Previous roles included the Account Director of Developer Relations at Electronic Arts and the Director of Operations at Super Computer International.

Ken Griggs, Senior Director of Client Success and Professional Services

Griggs comes from Deloitte where he held the position of Head of Professional Service Delivery, where he helped internal and external clients implement and operate the AI ​​solutions developed by Deloitte. Prior to Deloitte, he spent 14 years at Nexidia in a number of notable roles including Product Manager, Component Software Products and Senior Software Engineer.
